Flamenco dance classes include learning body placement; arms (braceo) and footwork (zapateado) technique and the different flamenco rhythms. At least once or twice a month a guitarist will be playing for the classes. All flamenco classes include learning a choreography, which will be performed at the end of the year recital.

Jota classes for both adults and children include exercises; learning traditional jota steps; castanets and choreographies. The exercises are geared towards strengthening the whole body and developing stamina. Please join us in discovering more about this folk dance that ranges from lively and energetic movements to the more sedate and tranquil.

Spanish classical classes* include learning body placement; basic Spanish classical steps like the "jerezana and campanela", footwork and castanets. Choreography will be taught and the students will have the opportunity to perform it at the end of the year recital.
